Abstract

On January 25, 2022 the discussion was focused on the issues related to the changes in Russian life during the first decades of the 21st century: pandemic and its consequences, the fate of cultural heritage, the place of architecture in the dynamics of social processes; the development of the Far North; the need for Oriental studies and education oriented to the East. Urban planners, architects, culturologists, and competent representatives of the government and higher education took part in the discussion.
