Abstract

The article features the phenomenon of conversion of the Keizer's warehouse in Hamburg harbor and the appearance of the Elbe Philharmonic Hall. The article reviews the architecture of the Philharmonic Hall, peculiarities of its inclusion in the cultural life of Hamburg and the diversity of its cultural functions envisaged by architects.
