Аннотация

Подходы к проектированию жилища во многом определялись противоречивыми требованиями советского градостроительства. В 1920-е годы произошел переход от идеи повсеместного возведения поселков малоэтажных домов к строительству крупных многоэтажных жилых комплексов. Однако в 1930-е необходимость демонстрации успехов советской власти потребовала включения жилища в престижные ансамбли. Одновременно реалии советского градостроительства определялись промышленно-ведомственной системой, рассматривавшей город как нечто вторичное по отношению к производству. В послевоенный период жилище встраивалось в грандиозные проекты ансамблей – «памятников Победы», но на практике город представлял совокупность малоэтажных поселков. В первой половине 1950-х градостроительные задачи стали подгонять под возможности типового проектирования.
