Аннотация

Целью автора статьи стало восстановление памяти об известном иркутском архитекторе, педагоге и ученом. В 2023 году отмечается 150-летие талантливого архитектора. Некоторые факты биографии и творческого пути стали особо важными вехами в судьбе этого человека. Исследование основано на архивных материалах Иркутской региональной организации Союза архитекторов России. Достоверность материалов подтверждается и тем, что документы в архиве появились благодаря родным Н. И. Бойкова. Работа с архивными документами побудила автора к более глубокому изучению материалов по малоизвестным объектам Н. И. Бойкова, к их натурным исследованиям, опросов персонала завода и местных жителей. Многие биографические факты и страницы творческой жизни Н. И. Бойкова публикуются впервые.
