Using the example of Far Eastern cities and specific facilities, the authors consider the emerging social practices and strategies for overcoming marginalization, as well as the possibilities of their inclusion in the urban environment. The authors conclude that marginal spaces are not limited only to their negative significance, as they have sufficient potential to overcome marginalization and can create a new image of cities in the context of transformations in public life.
