Abstract

This article presents an analysis of the marginalization of urban areas, which is considered as a multi-stage and complex procedure that has both socio-economic and socio-cultural significance for the life of the city. The purpose of the article is to determine the essential features and identify the features of the marginalization of urban space. The final part of the work emphasizes the importance of forming a strategic set of measures aimed at transforming marginalized areas, bringing them to the urban rhythm, and improving the general standard of living of the population.
