Museification of the cultural landscape of the museum complex in Sevastopol Authors Elina Krasilnikova Sevastopol State University Downloads PDF DOI: https://doi.org/10.51461/issn.2309-3072/85.2623 Keywords: cultural landscape, water-green framework, urban environment, identified cultural heritage site, deconstructivism Abstract At the beginning of the 21st century, examples of integration of cultural heritage objects into the spatial-planning structure of modern architectural-landscape complexes appear in Russia. An example of modern museification is the integration of newly identified cultural heritage objects into the structure of the museum complex in the city of Sevastopol, spatially interacting with the ‘floating architecture’ of deconstructivist architect W. D. Prix, the author of the museum complex. Museification is considered as a method of integrating cultural heritage objects into the structure of modern urban planning, architectural-landscape and architectural complexes through landscape organization of the territory in order to create sustainable elements of the city’s cultural landscape.
