Abstract

The article considers the connection of media art with the urban
environment based on the analysis of Russian and foreign projects. It is determined that media art objects affect urban space both in actual architectural and visual expression and through the representation of the cultural code of the place. The language of
traditional art in the media art is combined with modern trends in accordance with the polyphonism of postmodernism and media culture, which carries out dialogues in different time and cultural ranges.
