Studying the case of improvement of Zhilkino settlement in Irkutsk, the teams proposed new ideas for dealing with built-up areas, which could be realized not only for Zhilkino, but also for other similar districts around the world.Redevelopment of ineffectively used territories as hidden resources for urban development is of crucial importance.
