Аннотация

Рассматриваются изменения в понимании архитекторами и обществом роли наследия в советском городе, его значения для формирования городской среды. Архитектура советского периода, как известно, пережила несколько поворотов в своем развитии, определявшихся сменой государственной политики в этой области. Казалось, что градостроительные концепции также менялись кардинальным образом. Однако при внешних различиях глубинные пласты профессионального мышления архитекторов-градостроителей изменялись мало, одни и те же проблемы развития городов, сохранения их исторической застройки возникали вновь и вновь. На рубеже 1960–1970-х годов и затем, в 1980-е, произошли определенные подвижки в осмыслении роли исторической городской среды, но условия градостроительной деятельности в стране практически не менялись, что способствовало воспроизведению сложившихся стереотипов. Последнее десятилетие советской эпохи отличалось парадоксальностью позиций в отношении наследия, во многом неизжитой и в постсоветский период.
