Представлены результаты исследования геокультурного потенциала уральского города Верещагино, отмечающего 125-летие в 2023 г. Исторически сложившееся сочетание старообрядческого уклада и сплоченности местной корпорации железнодорожников обеспечивало устойчивое развитие городской среды в XX веке. В настоящее время город, названный в честь выдающегося русского художника-баталиста В. В. Верещагина, нуждается в геокультурной стратегии развития. Для анализа используется концепция геокультурного брендинга городов.
