Using a quasi-experimental pre– post design across six semesters (n≈100), results demonstrated significant gains in color harmony, contrast control, and technical execution. Students also developed stronger design reasoning and creative autonomy. Findings support HSB contrast zoning as a replicable instructional framework bridging technical precision and perceptual depth in digital design education. References Albers, J. (2006).
