I. Leonidov, which form a specific style combining futuristic and ancient Egyptian motives. Taking into account the impact made by this style on the works by the group of Ginzburg and the Vesnin brothers and the NKTP bureaus headed by them, the author of the article proposes to consider the style as a significant phenomenon in Soviet architecture of the middle 1930s and to introduce the term “NKTP Style”.
