The object of study is the development in the city of Zhalantun, the stations along the China Eastern Railway, where at the beginning of the 20th century there was a well-known resort in Northern Manchuria. The article considers the current state of recognized architectural monuments – the railway club building and the former military barracks, which have nowadays been turned into the museums. The research is based on a field survey conducted in 2024 using literary and archival materials.
