The study is based on visual inspection, literary sources, author and historical photographs. As a result of the survey, stylistic features were identified, an analysis of the facade design with decorative elements was carried out, and the typology of the structures was studied. Among the distinctive features of Ryazan wooden architecture, it is necessary to note the abundance of various architectural forms and methods of decorative design of facades. The objects of wooden architecture are in varying degrees of preservation.
