Аннотация

Как выстраивались взаимоотношения «своего» и «чужого» в советской архитектуре, известно мало. Отношения к наследию в Калининградской области и в бывших республиках Средней Азии при всей их несхожести имеют много общего. Архитектурное и градостроительное наследие, веками складывавшееся в этих регионах и отражавшее особенности местной культуры, воспринималось как «инокультурное», оппозиционное устоям советской власти. Рассматривается отношение к «инокультурному» наследию при формировании архитектурно-пространственной среды советских городов.
