Аннотация

Статья посвящена выдающемуся памятнику деревянного зодчества XVIII века – церкви Владимирской иконы Божией Матери в селе Подпорожье Архангельской области. Церковь входила в состав храмового комплекса. На основании исторических источников раскрыта история всех построек комплекса в период с середины XVII до конца XIX века. Выявлены сведения о предшествующих церквях. Определено, что первоначальный архитектурный облик объекта сохранился до нашего времени с минимальными изменениями. Архитектура Владимирской церкви проанализирована в контексте развития местных традиций. Раскрыты истоки архитектурных особенностей объекта, рассмотрены аналоги. Охарактеризовано существующее состояние Владимирской церкви, заострено внимание на ее высокой историко-культурной ценности.
