Аннотация

В статье рассматриваются четыре истории о предстоящем или начавшемся сносе зданий в Екатеринбурге. Анализируются следующие проблемы: как связаны страх и коллективная память; причины, по которым общественные организации могут защищать здания с высоким уровнем физического износа, в то время как собственники готовы с ними безболезненно расстаться; как формируется ценность архитектурного наследия в глазах горожан. На основе описанных кейсов составлена классификация страхов применительно к сносу зданий.
